This lodge has the nicest vibe of all the lodges I've stayed in in the Sabi Sands / Timbivati / Kruger. The staff are so friendly and make a really special attempt to keep everyone engaged. We really appreciated that. It was also very good value for money with good rooms, airconditioning, and good homely food.

This lodge is absolutely stunning! Every amenity, the food, the staff, the environment…all simply perfect. I could not have asked for more. You cannot go wrong with Simbambili. And the massage was definitely one of the best I have ever had.

The Honeymoon Tent is AMAZING in an amazing setting. I stayed there alone after upgrading from a standard tent, which was fine, but I didn’t care for their setting at all. Totally worth the onsite upgrade.
Leo was a wonderful and very knowledgeable driver/guide. The food was good. They made special vegetarian dishes for me at every meal. The staff all wonderful and accommodating. It’s a lovely and well maintained property.

The location at the entrance of Kruger park, the wonderful food and the staff was exceptional to make sure you are comfortable and have a good stay. Beautiful hotel. You can book at the hotel game drives and panoramic trips. The gift shop was really nice too.

Game drives with Ronnie was so perfect! We saw all big five in 2 days! He is very respectful to the wild and animals and I liked how he would follow the footprints of animals to predict where they maybe.
Great food with nice seasoning, they feed you plenty!
Unfenced and not developed area; you really are in the wild. We had elephant feeding itself right in front of our tent, and we had to wait for him to walk away for us to safely go back to our tent.
Wifi was good enough in the main area.

First time on Safari and the whole experience was wonderful. All the staff from ranger and tracker to the kitchen staff were friendly and helpful. Just really nice people.
Saw all that we hoped for and much much more. We were lucky to see the wild dogs and hyenas with a kill and also Ostriches', which apparently was the first time they'd been seen at the lodge in 24 years, how lucky were we! The ranger and tracker certainly went that extra mile to find the animals for us. Don't hesitate to book. We will definitely be going back.

Comfortable small lodge, very friendly service, great game drives with very engaged and knowledgeable rangers, also enjoyed the bush walk very much. Definitely recommend a private game reserve based on the quality of the game drives and the service, as well as the limited amount of visitors. We only stayed one night but saw leopards and lions, etc.
